Dear Saints:

Praise God we have received overwhelming response. This week, ICM is sending with ICM's Regional Directors, Rev Cornelio Perez and his wife Rev Deborah Perez, a large sum of money raised from our supporters in Malaysia. They will meet with Mrs Vera Perdede, wife of the Governor and a strong Christian. She sent another appeal to us by SMS which reads: "There are many ... who need help caused by this disaster. Any kind of donation to help will be greatly appreciated". The cry is desperate.

You may have read that the death toll in Indonesia as of yesterday stands at 45,268 out of a total of 80,000 dead. This figure is rising and we have decided that we will take whatever funds we have raised plus food, clothing, etc to the Indonesians as quickly as we can collect them.

It is significant that MSNBC carried on its website an article which gives us further reflection of Isaiah 24:19, 20. I quote in part the following:

LOS ANGELES, California (Reuters) -- The deadly Asian earthquake may have permanently accelerated the Earth's rotation, shortening days by a fraction of a second and caused the planet to wobble on its axis, U.S. scientists said Tuesday.

Richard Gross, a geophysicist with NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California, theorized that a shift of mass toward the Earth's center during the quake Sunday caused the planet to spin 3 microseconds, or millionths of a second, faster and to tilt about an inch on its axis.
